Bio: Amanda Tickner is the GIS and Makerspace librarian at MSU Libraries. She has a PhD in anthropology and a master's in library science from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She is happy to help instructors with including GIS and Makerspace activities in their classroom, finding GIS data, accessing GIS software, and consulting on using GIS in research.
